Happy Father’s Day Card #1

Good Morning! I hope everyone is enjoying their day today. One more day until it’s Friday.. woohoo.. Any plans for this Memorial Day Weekend? We don’t have any set plans we just do what ever and go when we want since it’s just the hubby and I and no kids. I’m sure there are a lot of things going here in Arizona, I’m sure we will find something to do. Speaking of the hubby, It’s going to be Father’s Day soon so I have made a few cards in honor of him. Hopefully he doesn’t see this post because this is his card. DSC_6757-1This was a simple card to make and it turned out really cool.

Gift Card And Money Holder

My husband and I were invited to our friends son’s 11th birthday party this weekend. We didn’t know what  an 11 year boy would like as a gift, so we decided to just give him money. Money is always good to give that way  he can get want he wants. I made a few gift card holders and I saved money the total cost to make one is about 1.50. I just used designed paper, glue and velcro and my circuit explore machine. It was so easy. 20160523_10101220160523_10101720160523_101028

I Still Fall For You Everyday.

Hello Everyone. TGIF! I don’t have any plans for this weekend. Its kind of a chill weekend for the hubby and I. Hopefully we get to see the grandkids. It’s always nice spending time with them and makes my heart smile. So on this card I used watercolor for the background and once it was dried and hand lettered the quote. It’s a cute simple card for the one  you love. Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!DSC_6709-1

Start Of Something New

Good morning everyone.Happy Thursday! One more day until the weekend!  Let’s jump right in to what I did with this. It’s pretty simple I just used pink and green water color first. After it dried and just took a black pen and doodled away and this is the end result. A pretty cool background for a new card. Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by. IMG_20160517_152123

Color Outside The Lines…

DSC_6721-1Hello everyone! I had 2 days off and I loved it! I did nothing but crafting and making cards and did a few scrapbook pages. It was 2 days of just bliss. Here is one of the cards I made. I thought the sentiment meant a lot to  everyone. To me  it means you don’t have to be perfect a little color outside the lines are ok. It’s ok if you mess up or fail just try and again. With that said I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Thank you for stopping by.

I started the background on this card using Tim Holtz distress inks as watercolor. I then used some adhesive glue to make the heart once that was dried I used foil to cover the glue with teal and silver. I used my Cricut to cut out Just Because using black card stock and then cut out the Just in teal glitter card stock. The color outside the lines is a stamp from Stampedous stamps and I stamped that with emboss ink and covered it with white embossing powder. I then added the silver strip to the bottom of the card and a few gem embellishments and I was done.

  • Water color paper
  • Tim Holtz distress inks
  • Cricut Explore
  • Card stock in black and teal glitter
  • Emboss Inks
  • White emboss powder
  • Foil in silver and teal
  • Gem embellishments
  • Craft glue
